Why choose RVP Gevelonderhoud?

- Adjustable working pressure, no needless damage to the pointing
- Powerful pre-treatment and warm water for the best result

Impregnation by RVP Gevelonderhoud
Using the flood method we apply an impregnating agent with a 10% solids content. Thorough saturation of the surface is essential, because only then does the treatment keep working for years. We take our time and continue until the brick absorbs nothing more.
Wet walls insulate poorly. Keep your walls dry and you notice the difference in the indoor climate. Done properly, that delivers up to 25% better insulation value. The facade keeps breathing, unlike cavity wall insulation where no airflow is possible.
- 10-year guarantee
- Up to 25% better insulation value
- The facade keeps breathing
- Prevents future repointing

What we go through beforehand
Close windows, doors, roof windows and ventilation grilles during and shortly after the work. We wash down windows and frames straight after impregnating so no residue is left behind.
Horizontal brickwork needs a different treatment, for example rubber seal or a course impregnation. On facades with damaged pointing or cracking, no local guarantee can be given on the impregnation. We are honest about that up front.

Our approach
Free survey
We assess the brick, the pointing and how much the facade absorbs, and discuss what is possible.
Clean and repair
Clean first, then repair the pointing where needed. Sealing in moisture is the last thing you want.
Two weeks of drying
Repaired pointing has to dry out completely. We take that time, otherwise the treatment loses its effect.
Impregnate and wash down
Applied by the flood method to full saturation, then windows and frames washed down straight away.
