Clean first, then close off
Nesting material and droppings have to come out before anything is closed off. So we clean the area first and only then fit the deterrent. Otherwise you seal the problem in instead of solving it.
We take account of the nesting season and of protected species. If there is an active nest we schedule the work for a later moment in consultation. We say so honestly during the survey.
