Facade cleaning and pointing repair
On this corner house the pointing had worn away over large areas. Moisture was soaking into the brickwork and in several places the bricks were working loose.
We cleaned the facade first, then raked out the failed pointing and reapplied it to match the colour. After two weeks of drying time the facade was impregnated.
Acting in time saved many times the cost here. Waiting would have meant replacing the bricks themselves.
