Chimney and leadwork
The chimney had visible damage to the pointing and the lead no longer sealed properly against the roof. In heavy rain water was running behind it.
We replaced the lead with 18-pound lead and stainless steel clips, cut back to around 6 cm, and repaired the pointing. The chimney was then impregnated.
We combined this with the facade work on the same house. The scaffolding was up anyway, so the extra cost was limited.
